Description

The Workshop for Advanced Manufacturing WAM 2025 edition at ILL-ESRF in Grenoble, is taking place 3rd-5th June 2025

This is a unique dedicated event to neutron and synchrotron characterization in the field.

The event is organized in 3 days including three main topics:

  • one for internal stress and residual stress,
  • one for imaging
  • and a last one for microstructure,

all of them considering neutron and synchrotron methods for advanced characterization and examples of successful problems solved.

Industrial and standardization challenges in AM will be also addressed through the 3 days together with dedicated time for networking and Round Tables.

On the first afternoon we will profit from a cheese & wine gathering in campus to get to know each other and start discussions. On the second evening we will have dinner downtown with excellent French cuisine at “Le 26” (https://www.restaurant-le-26-grenoble.fr/). On the last day, we propose you a cultural visit of Grenoble historical center and visit to La Bastille.
