DESCRIPTION:ScopeThe ESRF/ILL International Student Summer Programme on X-
 Ray and Neutron Science is aimed at undergraduate students. It consists of
  a 4-week course including an extensive experimental project embedded in a
  research group of ESRF or ILL\, preceded by a series of introductory lect
 ures on the principles and applications of X-ray and neutron science (magn
 etism\, materials science\, soft matter\, structural biology\, imaging\, e
 tc.) and followed by presentations of students' experimental projects.Date
 s2-29 September 2026LocationThe Summer Programme will take place at the Eu
 ropean Photon & Neutron Science Campus (EPN)\, hosting the ESRF and ILL\, 
 in Grenoble\, France.EligibilityUndergraduate students from a University o
 f a Member Country (or Scientific Associate Country) of ESRF or ILL are el
 igible to the Summer Programme. The Summer Programme will be held in Engli
 sh\; participants are expected to be fluent in spoken and written English.
  The number of participants is limited to approximately 20.Financial suppo
 rtAll selected participants will receive financial support and free accomm
