ILL50

Description
This year, SFN is organizing a topical school on Time-of-Flight neutron spectroscopy, which will be held between December 7th and 10th 2026 at the ILL.

The objective of this school is to accompany the French neutron community towards the use of Time-of-flight spectrometers in spallation sources, and especially in preparation for the use of the upcoming instruments suite at the ESS.  This school is addressed to participants (permanent and non-permanent) who are already familiar with neutron spectroscopy. To ensure a high pedagogical quality and interactions during tutorials and practicals, attendance will be limited to 30 participants. Selection will be based on a short CV and brief statement of motivation. Priority will be given to participants from the French community but registration may be extended to international users depending on attendance.
Lectures will be in English.
