Scope
The ESRF/ILL International Student Summer Programme on X-Ray and Neutron Science is aimed at undergraduate students. It consists of a 4-week course including an extensive experimental project embedded in a research group of ESRF or ILL, preceded by a series of introductory lectures on the principles and applications of X-ray and neutron science (magnetism, materials science, soft matter, structural biology, imaging, etc.) and followed by presentations of students' experimental projects.

Location
The Summer Programme will take place at the European Photon & Neutron Science Campus (EPN), hosting the ESRF and ILL, in Grenoble, France.
Eligibility
Undergraduate students from a University of a Member Country (or Scientific Associate Country) of ESRF or ILL are eligible to the Summer Programme. The Summer Programme will be held in English; participants are expected to be fluent in spoken and written English. The number of participants is limited to approximately 20.
Financial support
All selected participants will receive financial support and free accommodation in Grenoble.
