The Thematic Workshop 1 - Landscape Analysis of the Future Co-Innovation Ecosystem will be the first step in collecting critical input from technology-developing communities, initially in the Physical Sciences & Engineering and Health & Food ESFRI domains. There is also an overarching objective to start to shape the new RI-industry ecosystem. The workshop will feature several keynote presentations covering the above areas, analysis of the questionnaire that you will receive and in-depth discussion in appropriate formats. The draft programme is shown below.
Tuesday, 8 September 2026
- Arrival, registration and lunch starting from 12:00
- Session 1: Mapping and understanding the current RI-industry ecosystem
- Visit to the ILL Experimental Halls (first group)
- Cheese & Wine evening onsite
Wednesday, 9 September 2026
- Session 2: Establishing the role of key actors such as RIs and TIs, RTOs, industry, SMEs and startups
- Session 3: Exploring the established technology development communities for accelerators, detectors, photons, neutrons and Life Science
- Visit to the ILL Experimental Halls (second group)
- Tourist excursion aboard the famous “Bubbles” cable cars, travelling from Grenoble city centre to the Fort de la Bastille
- Workshop dinner at the Restaurant du Téléphérique
Thursday, 10 September 2026
- Session 4: Identifying strengths and weaknesses of the current marketplace of industry partners and suppliers
- End of workshop at 12:30, lunch and departure
Lunches and coffee breaks are included throughout the two day event.
