Description

The event is led by the IRT Nanoelec technological research institute, a real innovation accelerator for the microelectronics industry, with the participation of the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), the Laue Langevin Institute (ILL), Laboratory of Subatomic Physics and Cosmology (LPSC), the Leti institute of the Commissariat à énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives (CEA-Leti), Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), the Néel Institute, Grenoble-INP/UGA, Institut de recherche interdisciplinaire de Grenoble (Irig) and SERMA Technologies.

This year, the topic of CARAC will be: "Easy access to Large Scale Research Infrastructures (LSRI): extending your characterisation toolbox with cutting edge unique methodologies has never been so easy". A series of talks will be presented to illustrate how, after the development of the recent years, the LSRIs have been democratised, and, for selected relevant challenges become a very effective and powerful complement to laboratory based methodologies. We will present how working with LSRI has become easier, addressing all the different steps in the data chain, from the data production, to the analysis, and to the exploitation. The development of routines methodologies for data acquisitions and data analysis will be described, together with novel patterns of collaboration with RTOs and intermediaries, and last but not least, novel advanced methodologies based on Artificial Intelligence.

You will also have the possibility to visit our institutes (ILL, ESRF, PFNC, CMTC, Institut Néel) in the afternoon.

NEWS 2022 edition will be hold in hybrid format. You are more than welcome on site but you can also chose to attend on-line

Registrations are still open until Thursday 17th to attend both online or in-person.

If you wish to contact our scientists before the event, write to support@pac-grenoble.eu our team will introduce you to the right person whom will provide you the answer to your questions.
