The 17th International Symposium on Capture Gamma-Ray Spectroscopy and Related Topics, CGS17 is the seventeenth in the CGS conference series. It took place at Minatec in Grenoble from 17 - 21 July 2023.

The symposium will continue the general themes of the series with special emphasis on gamma-ray spectroscopy.
